COVID-19 MANDATES

May 01,2020

In order to make sure our offices are fresh, clean, and safe we have raised our procedures and policies to meet CDC, federal, and local guidelines. Here are a few things we have completed while we were closed:
Completed additional deep-cleaning and disinfecting of the entire office, hard surfaces, and equipment
Purchased new surface disinfectant and cleaning supplies for use after each patient
Put up all new frames and cases

Upon reopening, you should notice some changes in our daily operations. These changes include, but are not limited to the following:
New signage posted throughout the office highlighting our procedures
Maintaining traffic patterns to control social distancing
Reduce quantity of patients in office at the same time
The use of personal protective equipment by our staff
The use of masks, gloves, and even face shields or dispense shields
Increasing cleaning frequency rotations to wipe down all surfaces, equipment, frames, or lenses after each use
The introduction of telemedicine to minimize in office visits
Use of on line registration or registration and insurance approval by phone
The screening of patients and staff by taking temperatures, wearing gloves, frequent hand washing (20 seconds)
Limited presentation of frames with our concierge service
Having patents utilize their own masks and pens to minimize cross contamination

In order to manage the total capacity in the office:
There may be a wait time to enter the office, especially during peak hours
Walk in appointments and pick ups have been suspended due to government mandate
Touchless dispenses at the door
Time spent in office is reduced significantly.
We will socialize and catch up after the pandemic, but today being expedient will save lives

Your protection and that of our staff are our number one priority. Together, we can make this transition safe and smooth. Please remember to:

BE KIND
BE MINDFUL
BE CONSIDERATE
WE ARE ALL IN THIS TOGETHER
